The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held annually during August in Bristol, England. Teams from the UK and other parts of the world bring their hot air balloons to the site and participate in mass ascents where as many as 100 balloons may launch at a time.
One popular attraction is the night glow, when balloons are inflated and glow to music after dark.

I am a Bristol (England)-based fine art photographer specializing in landscape, architecture and wildlife images. All work is digital using professional Nikon equipment. After a lapse of 30 years, I rediscovered my passion for photography when I retired and converted to digital.
